I'm including our favorite Christmas cookie recipe... We snarffed these up in about 3 days.... and then Anne made another couple of batches to share with her friends. Since the purpose of this blog is to print and bind for the kids each year...I wanted to make sure that this recipe was included so they would always have it!!

Cooking naked is totally optional.

Peanutbutter Blossoms

1 1/2 cup flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

2/3 cup shortening

1/2 cup peanutbutter

1 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix it all together, squishing in hands. Roll into little balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Place a hershey kiss on top of each cookie once it comes out of oven.
